Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish was best-known for her role in movies including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. His father is Jack Gilpin star of such films such as Adventureland (2009) as well as her mother was Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) and many other films. The love and support of her parents led to the decision to take up acting an easy one for young Betty Gilpin. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned the art of acting. Gilpin continued to audition for roles in television and films while performing in Off Broadway stage plays. After a brief guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent and a few other small roles on Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin got mostly TV part-time roles in the next few years until her breakout moment came in 2013 when she was chosen to be a regular on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, was featured in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie in the run-up to when the show closed on June 15 2015. The following year, Gilpin made an appearance in the thriller-mystery True Story (2015).
